Statement of Faith 1. We believe that the Bible - Old and New Testaments is the inspired and authoritative written Word of God. (2 Tim 3:16) 2. We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matt 28:18-20) 3. We believe that Christ is the son of God the second person of the holy Trinity. He was incarnated in the flesh, born of the Virgin Mary, thus called Jesus. So doing uniting one person, God and Man.(John 3:16) 4. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and is ever abiding, convicting, regenerating and sanctifying believers. Being baptized with the Holy Spirit adds to believer's power. The Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. (John 14:26; Mark 16:16-18; Acts 2:4) 5. We believe in salvation of mankind through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. (Rom 10:9; 5:11; Acts 2:38)) 6. We believe in water baptism and observance of the Lord’s Supper. (Rom 6:3; I Cor 11:24-27) 7. We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing of the human body. (Isa 53:5) 8. We believe in the resurrection, we believe that the dead in Christ shall rise first. For Christ who died, rose again. (I Cor 15:13-14, 20; John 11:25; Rom 5:6) 9. We believe in only one kind of Marriage which is between One Man and One Woman according to Gods Holy Word. (Gen 1:27-28; 2:20-24) 10. We believe in the spiritual of gifts of God, for His Son rose, led captivity captive and gave gifts to men. (Eph 4:7; I Cor 12:13-14) We believe in all nine gifts:
11. We believe in sanctification, which is an act of separation from that which is evil and of dedication to God. (Rom 12: 1-2; I Peter 1:15-16) |
